Mima Preston, Registered Clinical Counsellor

Mima Preston is a Registered Clinical Counsellor in Vancouver with a specialized focus on work/life balance, compassion fatigue, caregiver fatigue, burnout, anxiety & panic, stress, emotional overwhelm, perfectionism, and self-esteem. Through a combination of talk therapy and mind-body counselling, Mima has extensive experience supporting health care workers to revitalize their passion for the work they do. Mima is a certified provider for the Crime Victims Assistance Program (CVAP) for those who have experienced childhood abuse or relationship violence. Her experience includes high-risk domestic violence counselling for the Vancouver Police Department and Family Services of Greater Vancouver, providing crisis and recovery support, long term therapy, and court accompaniment for victims of domestic violence. Mima is also a group therapy facilitator for those experiencing Caregiver Fatigue.
