LGBTQ+ Fertility Support Group -- 2013-2015

This group is offered at Genesis Fertility for anyone in the Vancouver area identifying as LGBTQ and actively trying to conceive through the use of assisted reproduction (donors, surrogacy, IUI, IVF) and for those experiencing infertility. We offer a safe space to share information and to gain support. Facilitators will present information and resources on a specific topic related to LGBTQ+ family-building. Each meeting brings a new topic for discussion, followed by interactive discussion and sharing of tips, experiences, and stories with others. Facilitated by Holly Yager, RCC.

Vancouver Infertility Support Group -- 2013-2016 - On hiatus

If you are actively trying to conceive, whether naturally or through the use of assisted reproduction, and are having a hard time getting (or staying) pregnant, then this support group is for you. The evening begins with a discussion of a fertility-related topic and ends with the opportunity to share support with others going through a similar experience. The Vancouver Infertility Support Group is endorsed by the Infertility Awareness Association on Canada. Facilitated by Emily Koert, R.Psych and Holly Yager, RCC.
